NARELLE HENRY
Narelle
has extensive experience as a practitioner in addressing
the needs of children and adults with complex needs.
This experience has been the genesis to the development
and establishment of Equalis as a
Registered Training Organisation. This initiative was
started based on the comprehensive understanding that
the needs of children and people with complex issues
are best met based on a model that builds the abilities
of the staff and carers supporting them. Armed with
a sound grasp of the factors that affect organisations
in their attempts to find solutions to meeting the
needs of their clients and the staff supporting them,
she is considered an inspirational leader in the field
and continuously challenges herself to reach a greater
understanding of the needs of the whole community service
sector to ensure Equalis’s business
models meet these. She is extremely skilled in the
development of competency-based training models that
cover both the general and the specialist nature of
working in the community service sector.
Her understanding that the staff and carers within
the community service sector are the most precious
resource for children and adults with complex needs
is what Equalis, led by Narelle, have
designed their business model on: to ensure it is focused
on capacity-building of this critical resource – the
staff and carers. Narelle has a passion and commitment
to clients, carers, staff and organisations within
the community services sector. All who interact with
her can attest to this passion and many express renewed
interest and energy for developing their knowledge
and competencies.
PETA BOLLEN
Peta’s excellent skills and competence cover
many facets of the vocational education and training
sector. Peta has achieved a high level of respect from
our trainees, students and organisations. She has built
an excellent reputation for her training-delivery style,
which shows a high level of competence in the development
of training materials, a research ability that is second
to none and highly polished written articulation of
key learning areas, while always ensuring compliance
with endorsed training packages in the process of assessment
task development. Peta effectively and professionally
liaises with people from senior management to those
at the frontline and all who work with Peta express
great appreciation of her energy and ability to apply
adult learning principles in a fun manner that ensures
the achievement of the expected learning outcomes.
Peta has been responsible for the project management
of a range of our course development. This activity
requires expert knowledge of industry needs and the
ability to develop courses to meet these. Peta has
enhanced and fine-tuned her skills in establishing
organisational partnerships with a number of our clients.
KATE MANTLE
Kate works from our national office and her work function
continues to evolve in line with the growth and administrative
needs of running a Registered Training Organisation
(RTO). Kate has highly developed organisational skills
and sets herself a high standard within the administrative
area that is commendable. Kate’s ability to juggle
tasks and manage the variety of administrative jobs
is an extremely valuable asset for a RTO. An important
aspect to Kate’s role is her interaction with
our clients and internal staff. She is able to create
professional relationships with all she has contact
with, despite contact being made predominately via
phone and email. Kate actively seeks opportunities
to grow as a professional and continues to enhance
her knowledge of all areas of the vocational, educational
and training sectors.
INES ZANIN
Ines works out of our national office and her role
is crucial to the effective operations of a Registered
Training Organisation (RTO). Ines has been instrumental
in establishing our student file system, achieved as
result of her excellent ability to think systemically
and in consideration of future growth across the whole
Community Services Sector. Critical to Ines’s
role is the preparation of training resources and ensuring
course material reaches clients at the required venue
on time. Recently taking on a role as a liaison for
traineeships, Ines regularly calls trainees and passes
on any problem areas to their trainer that need action.
Ines also ensures all the office needs are met and
keeps in the workplace in order so Equalis staff work
in the most comfortable environments.
NADINE PRICE
Nadine excels in her ability to liaise with families
and other key stakeholders. She has an ability to relate
to and make people feel valuable in the important areas
of care across the community services sector. Nadine
has been the cornerstone in developing our client based
within the Children Service Industry, contract coordination
and delivery within the Disability Service Industry.
Nadine has led the development of our course material
for Certificate III in Children Service, Certificate
IV in Out of School Hours Care and Diploma of Children
Service. Most significantly, Nadine has developed a
library of short-course material for the child care
sector that we roll out as an annual calendar. These
courses can now be purchased on CD after they were
so well received within the sector. Nadine continues
to receive excellent feedback for her student support
services and for her high level of competence in negotiation
and navigating through the varied levels of organisational
training systems. Nadine commands respect in any training
environment and applies effective and professional
interpersonal skills to ensure participants feel comfortable
with her training style, which encourages participation
that then leads to the attainment of course objectives.
