E - LEARNING

Equalis is very excited about this training model. Our E learning training has been developed in partnership with another company, Learning Seat. Learning Seat has used our content for the Certificate III and IV in Disability Work and Certificate III and IV in Aged Care Work and designed them for the E Leaning platform. The future of training lies within the E Learning platform and we encourage all to consider this as an option for meeting training needs. We have further courses being developed and will keep you up to date with this progress.

DISTANCE EDUCATION

This training model is for students and organisations that may be located in rural and remote areas or prefer their training delivered in this style. The benefits are that you can train and learn at your own pace and in your own space. With distance education, all course material is sent you once you have registered and you are provided an allocated trainer. The trainer, in consultation with you, will develop a contact schedule for support and monitoring of your training progress.

TRAINEESHIPS

A traineeship is a contractual agreement between your employer; an Australian Apprenticeship Centre; the Department of Education and Training in your State; and a Registered Training Organisation (RT0). When undertaking a traineeship your employer is to guarantee employment for the period of your traineeship. You are obligated to complete the training and submit the required assessments. The RTO has a range of standards to meet to ensure that the provision of your training is in line with the Australian Quality Training Framework and our User Choice contract.

WORKSHOPS / SEMINARS

Equalis provides workshop and seminar-style training based on our library of courses currently available. Equalis is constantly requested by our clients to develop new courses and/or customise our existing range of available courses and we have gained a reputation of being able to develop and deliver these. There is no course Equalis can not develop and deliver.

TRAINING PARTNERSHIPS

Equalis has established partnerships with a number of organisations. The nature of these arrangements has been driven by the specific needs of the organisation and present varied levels of engagement. The introduction of the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF) and Training Packages has increased the opportunities for RTOs to establish partnerships with other organisations and industry bodies to offer a broad range of training and assessment services.

The establishment of such arrangements:

  • Increases peoples access to nationally recognised qualifications.
  • Ensure the national training and assessment arrangements meet industry requirements.
  • Facilitates the efficient use of training and assessment resources.
  • Promotes the exchange of ideas, information and resources between different groups in the national Vocational Education and Training (VET) system.
